Organisations could adapt the 7 standards specifically for equality and/or human rights (EHR) mainstreaming by:

1) Explicitly incorporating protected characteristics in the Inclusion standard;

2) Ensuring diversity data collection aligns with Planning and Impact standards;

3) Using the Working Together standard to establish EHR governance structures;

4) Adapting case studies to reflect EHR-specific scenarios such as reasonable adjustments, accessibility planning, and inclusive service design;

5) Integrating the standards with existing EHR policies and legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010;

6) Using the Communication standard to ensure EHR information is accessible to all protected groups;

7) Applying the Methods standard to ensure EHR engagement approaches are culturally appropriate and barrier-free.
