At development level:
- Do initial assessments of organisational capacity for equality and human rights work
- Use self-assessment tools to evaluate your current performance and identify gaps
- Assess staffing levels, skills, knowledge and resources available for equality and/or human rights work
- Use what you learn from assessments to inform how you allocate resources
At advanced level:
- Assess capacity regularly and systematically
- Develop detailed improvement plans based on the findings of the assessments
- Monitor progress systematically and reassess regularly to track capacity improvement over time
