New to equality and human rights mainstreaming

  1. Start with What is Mainstreaming? and the Six Key Drivers to understand the basics
  2. Use the self-assessment tool to identify where you are in your mainstreaming journey.
  3. Review The Scottish Context for general information on some of the legal framework
  4. Focus on the specific driver actions identified through your self-assessment as priority areas for your organisation.

Experienced practitioners

  • Use the toolkit as a reference resource for specific challenges. New resources will be added to the toolkit on a regular basis.
  • Access  tools and templates.
