The Scottish Government’s 2023 update to its Gender Equality Index, measuring progress across six domains — Work, Money, Time, Knowledge, Power, and Health — plus additional indicators on violence against women and women-specific healthcare. Scotland scores 79 out of 100 overall. Power (score 56) is the lowest-scoring domain. Provides an authoritative, Scotland-specific evidence baseline for gender inequality.
