A short illustrated case study describing how residents in Leith, Edinburgh used international human rights law to challenge poor housing conditions. Working with the SHRC and Edinburgh Tenants’ Federation, residents surveyed over 180 households, developed human rights-based indicators, and presented findings to Edinburgh Council, securing a commitment to improve their homes.
