At advanced level:

  • Plan resources comprehensively and strategically
  • Ensure you have enough resources for doing the work, not just meeting legal requirements
  • Ensure you can access specialist equality and human rights expertise (both internal and external)
  • Build relationships with consultants, legal advisers and equality organisations for specialist support
  • Protect equality and human rights resources in the face of budget and other substantial organisational pressures
